Knee Braces
Hi All,
I have been nursing a urm... sub optimal right knee. And being a winger of note regarding injuries and all that, you know that means its but a minor scratch.
SOOO, I have decided to use the "Lock Outs" on my knee Braces. What these little magafters do is set what the maximum angle is that your legs can straighten to. 0 Deg means straight leg, and 30 Deg means you can make it 30 Deg less than straight. I have set mine at 15 Deg. This forces me to ride with slightly bent knees, and hey presto - no more urm.. Sub optimal knee!
I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to get some decent knee braces and set them up with a stopping mechanism - it will improve your riding more than you can possibly imagine. I took almost 8 minutes off my Red Time this weekend and felt pretty fresh after, and I think its got a lot to do with the braces.
How are your knees dealing with riding?

Re: Knee Braces
My knees don't like riding. My knees especially don't like Daytona. Just ask Smoker and Hippo. I will see if mine can do the angled bit, not sure, but makes sense to ensure you ride with slightly bent knees.
Probably also puts you closer to the ground for when you hit it.

Re: Knee Braces
Lefty is buying braces this week, so will try and get ones which have a setting for range of movement.
