Family ride and potjie

Hello All

Yogi, Cindy, kids, Rooster, Astrid, kids, Lefty, kids, and I were chatting this Sunday and
throwing around the idea of a potjie in the near future. Rooster advised that he was
willing to cook the potjie but that this would be a whole day out. In other words, once
you confirm your attendance, please don't arrive with the clock in mind.

We will sort out the logistics of who brings what (or pays!) once we know who is
interested. Also, we have to agree venue.

Sounds good! We don't have many options with regards to venues IMHO though.

Rhino or Chestnut I think.

Will put a poll as soon as we have all suggestions. For dates and venue.

I think we must avoid dust in our potjie so my money is on Rhino as you are a greater distance away from
bikers and most of their parking area is paved. Also, the lapa (assuming we can get one) is WAY larger than
Chestnut.

Ok, let's move things along re dates. How about Saturday 21 June? I suggest we arrive by 8am and stay the day.
I will assist Rooster with cooking by drinking and staying out of his way.

I think he meant half year till end June. So beginning July I think.

I have messaged Hippo, Top Shelf, Smoker, and Sethu (who has no handle yet) with the details
and asked them to actually reply this time! I will give them a couple of days and see what happens.
